How the Summer Evenings Drop-in classes will run and what to expect!
Our Summer Evening Drop-In Classes are designed to keep athletes active, learning, and having fun throughout July and August in a more flexible and relaxed environment than a traditional sessional program - while still offering quality coaching and skill development!
Each class will still follow a structured gymnastics format including:
β¨ A coach-led warm-up
β¨ Rotations through different apparatus/stations
β¨ Skill instruction and progressions from coaches
β¨ Opportunities to ask questions and work on individual goals
At each station, coaches will provide activities, drills, and skill progressions for athletes to try. Because these are drop-in classes, athletes are encouraged to explore, challenge themselves, and communicate with coaches about skills they would like to improve on or learn more about!
While these classes may have slightly less week-by-week progression and hands-on than our full-session programs, they are still a fantastic opportunity for athletes to continue developing skills, stay active during the summer, and gain confidence in the gym.
